Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL) is a research laboratory of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). It is located in Ambernath, Maharashtra and engaged in the research and development of materials and alloys for Naval use. It works as a single-window agency for all materials requirement of the Indian Navy. Applications from fresh 12th Pass Candidates, Graduates (B.A. / B.Sc / B.Com) / Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Other Engineering Branch Diploma Holders and ITI Diploma holders are recently invited by the DRDO NMRL for recruitment to various Apprenticeship Positions for the recruitment year 2020. Total Vacancy: Total vacancies notified by the DRDO NMRL are 30. Details of post wise / discipline wise vacancies are given below 

Job Type: Apprenticeship.

Job Location: Ambernath, Maharashtra

Salary / Pay Scale: Monthly stipend of Rs. 9,000/- for Graduate Apprentices, Rs. 8,000/- for Diploma Apprentices and Rs. 7,000/- for 10+2 Apprentices will be payable. 

Educational Qualification: Details of post wise qualifications are as under –

• Graduate Apprentice: B.Sc Chemistry or B.A. / B.Com in any subject with Computer Knowledge
• Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Computer Science / Paint Technology
• ITI Apprentice: ITI in Pump Operator / Fitter / Electrician / Laboratory Assistant / Welder / Office Assistant – Computer Operator
• 10+2 Apprentice: 10+2 in any subject with computer knowledge. 

Experience (If Any): Freshers are eligible.

election Process: Merit-based (based on marks obtained by the candidates in academic degree/diploma).
