Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) Limited is a Gold Category Public Sector Company of Government of Odisha. It is also the largest State PSU in Mining Sector in the country. The company has recently published a notification for recruiting Engineering Graduates / Engineering Diploma Holders and other diploma holder candidates for Manager, Foreman, Surveyor & Other Technical Posts for the recruitment year 2021. Selection of candidates will be through walk in interviews which are scheduled from 20th January 2021 to 10th February 2021. Details for candidates reference are provided below.

Total Vacancy: Total vacancies are 93. Details of post wise / category wise vacancies are given below 

Job Type: Contract (Initially for 3 years, which may be extended further).

Job Location: Odisha

Salary / Pay Scale: Post wise salary details are as under –

• Manager (Mining): Rs. 92000/- with provision of 10% hike every year
• Dy. Manager (Mining): Rs. 80000/- with provision of 10% hike every year
• Foreman (Mining): Rs. 42000/- with provision of 10% hike every year
• Mining (Mate): Rs. 27000/- with provision of 10% hike every year
• Blaster: Rs. 27000/- with provision of 10% hike every year
• Surveyor: Rs. 42000/- with provision of 10% hike every year

Educational Qualification & Experience: Post wise qualification and minimum experience requirement details are given below –

• Manager (Mining): B.E. / B.Tech in Mining Engineering with 1st Class MMCC and 6 years relevant experience.
• Dy. Manager (Mining): B.E. / B.Tech in Mining Engineering with 2nd Class MMCC and 4 years relevant experience
• Foreman (Mining): Diploma in Mining with Foreman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS. 
• Mining (Mate): HSC with Mining Mate Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS
• Blaster: HSC with Blaster’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS
• Surveyor: Diploma in Mines Survey / Mining Engineering with Survey Certificate of Competency in Mining Survey from DGMS.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 40 years for Manager (Mining) and 35 years for other posts. 

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be through Walk In Interview.
